Distiller won't start

Mac OS 10.4.7 / Acrobat CS2 (Distiller 7)

When I click on the Application, in the Doc, Distiller's start-up screen will show up for a few seconds and then disappear without opening Distiller.

How can I fix this?

I am having the same problem. I've tried de-activating all of the fonts but it still crashes. Running Mac OS 10.4.7 with all software up to date.

Have either of you tried running "repair disk permissions"?

Also, what happens when you try and run Distiller under a new user account?

What's in the Distiller crash log? Do you have Virex or Norton Antivirus installed?

I've repaired disk permissions.

Haven't tried under a new user account yet.

No Virex or Norton installed on that computer.

The Crash log is 44 pages in a Word document. How can I show it to you guys?

clear the log then launch distiller and capture the log again. I wouldn't think it would be that many pages.

That's it, if I quit Suitcase (12.0.1) Distiller will launch.

Now I have to find which font it is.

When I find which one (or what's wrong) I'll report it here.
