DMW 4 to DMW 8 problems with text

I went from Dreamweaver 4 to Dreamweaver 8 and am now having a difficult time
with OLDER browsers that our company will not update (They are using Netscape
4.7 on their OLD macs....) and now all of these symbols are showing up....
’ for ' &rmdash for - ; “ for " and ” for " - in DMW4 it DID
NOT do this - how can I get this to quit - I have tried several settings and
it's not working!!! Thanks!!!!!!!!
