DMX window bugs -- what to do? - Macromedia Dreamweaver

Whenever I switch back to DMX from another application, the window I was working on remains remains in the forefront. I have to click back to the other application, and then to DMX again, before the DMX windows appear in the forefront. Additionally, if I'm uploading something to a remote server within DMX, the small icon of the uploading file appears as a ghost image above whatever other application I'm using. These behaviors only happen with DMX. Is this a known bug with DMX for OS X? Can anything be done? Thanks, SWW...

I have also this, and I *think* it's something in Mac OSX Finder, not DW.
However, as I habitually is using Alt+Cmnd+H to hide all other apps, or
Cmnd+H to hide the one I've up, it's not a big thing at all to me.
Sorry, no solution, but perhaps some comfort....

Actually I definitely don't have this problem unless DMX is running, so I'm led to believe it's DMX related, not Finder related.

However, I'd be curious if you have the issue with other apps as well.

Ah, what I mean is of course that it's related to DW but not due a "bug"
or something in DW. I rather believe that it's the Finder which AFAIK is
supposed to handle the task but that can't cope with the quite complex
window system in DW. I don't have any other app with as much windows and
panels open (Photoshop included), so I think the Finder simply chokes.

But, hey, I'm not a techie, so I might as well be 180 degrees wrong.

Guess we need a Macromedia guy to jump in to tell us for sure, but given the buggy nature of DMX to begin with, that's what my money's on..

Nothing wrong with the MM boys and girls, but they might be a bit biased?
If I were you, I'd place the same Q at the Apple forums too, and compare
the answers (assuming some MM techie will see this, of course):

You're trying to taunt them to answer? If you want to communicate with

No, not taunting at all. Just my assumption; observation, etc.

I actually never expect tech folks from the big companies to read the postings on their own sites.. Would sure love it if they did..

That said, I'd be amazed if this particular issue is not Dreamweaver related.
