Default do I need to install Access?

I'm trying to install a free bulletin board software on my web server that
uses MS Access. I'm only familiar with ASP/SQL, but not ASP/Access. Do I
need to install Access on my web server? Or will it be able to talk to the
database through ADO directly? The software comes with an mdb database file
    already created.

Here is the blurb about the software:

"A very simple ASP message board component. Totally FREE! Uses MS Access
database. Just download the tiny zip file, extract the files, and upload to
your host! It's ready to use immediately."
