I installed "Super Close Window" from the DW Exchange about a week ago, and it
immediately wreaked havoc on my system.

It failed to install, causing Ext Manager to crash, then gues what? My copy of
Dreamweaver didnt work. Reinstalled DW to no avail, so I hunted down all DW
prefs, app support, etc. Reinstalled again, now I have to troubleshoot all the
other extensions, because is overwrote or corrupted my other extensions. THEN,
guess what else? Dreamweaver now moves at a snails pace. I dont have time deal
with trying to find the conflict, disabling/reenabling all day long, so I ended
up just killing the extensions. Sunday I finally deleted them all and
reinstalled fresh copies. Still no love.

So, I bit the bullet, resinstalled Mac OS and all software. Now my machine is
unhappy and does wierd things, such as my numeric keys no longer function,
open/save dialogs are weird and won't show any just-saved files, etc. I'm
running a bareones system here (well for my needs anyway), and now I have all
this trouble, and DW is STILL slow!

I'm not saying the Super Crap Window caused all this, but it sure as hell
started it. I used to be able to push my trusty G4 to the limit. I would have
Suitcase, 4 browsers, DW, Pshop, Illustrator, Quark, Mail, Word, Fetch ALL
running and get my works done.. PLUS I could fire up Virual PC to test web
pages. No problem.. and no I'm not exaggerating.

Oh, and did I get a response when I emailed the author? NO.

I'm pissed. BEWARE this junkyard software!
