Default Document Management Project- Need Guidance

I need help in setting up a NESTED document system similar to those encountered in Help.
The template should look like "Table of Content".

<Project #> When this is clicked a document is displayed. Like the Table of content .( will discuss the location of this document later).

Once the "Table of Content" is displayed , each click on each Section will either lead to another nested sections or display a document.

Regarding the location of the various document. Can I set up a Master folder, which will hold or the sub folders ( = the sub folders will contain document or other subsubfolders)..
Is my project possible.? If yes, under what section of Adobe should I be reading . Any good reference material you recommend.?
currently I am reading Class Room in a Book- Acrobat 7. pro

would appreciate your response to Axxll@mac.com
thanks

What is your authoring application for this project?

When you stipulate a table-of-contents - are you referencing bookmarks?

I am using Acrobat 7.0.4 pro, I guess I shall need Distiller for creating thisproject.

I am not sure what Bookmark means, but IIam looking at a list of document titles which when IIclick on one on it lead me to another nested list of document or to displays a document.

I have seen a sample of this in the form of a brochure, like this
first page has a list of links ,
INTRODUCTION
SERVICES
CAREER
CLIENTS

now each title looks like a hyperlink, when IIclick it , either it takes me to a document ( text and photos) or takes me to another nested tree, again the titles in that nested tree looks like hyperlink, clicking on any leads to a document or a second nesting and so on..

do you call this BOOKMARK..?

thanks for helping me,
I am new in as far as creating a PDF document , but know how to convert and review
cheers
