Btw .. try Kayell.
A google down to its VIC website shows that they do rent out 14n for $180
/day ..
maybe can ask Kayell NSW a favour?

The latest firmware upgrade is really making strides - it looks to be a very
impressive landscape camera from what I'm seeing from the kodak guys on
dpreview that own them.

Someone wrote before that they felt self-conscious having the white
Canon 70-200 L on their camera. The same would apply to me with the
14N with it's Gaudy 'Kodak' and 'Professional' blazed across the front
of the camera. It is very much like having go-faster stripes on a car.

Re: Does anyone know a place in Sydney that rents the Kodak 14N?
go faster stripes aside, IMHO the kodak 14n is without a doubt the ugliest
digital camera every "designed". All those awkward, chunky, bulbous
sections... not exactly sleek and integrated, looks like they kept tacking
on separate modules to the main body as they went.

I agree it's ugly, but with the nikon 17-35 attached nothing else digital
can match it for landscapes until you go into the medium format backs.

Nikon would not allow Kodak the use of there F5 body design so hence the
