Does anyone know when Contribute 4 is due for release?
Does anyone know when Contribute 4 is due for release? I've seen comments that
it is due out soon, and that some people earlier in the year beta tested it,
but just wondered if anyone out there had a bit more detail. If anyone has
beta-tested it, do you know if it does display table-free XHTML/CSS better in
the edit view?

Re: Does anyone know when Contribute 4 is due forrelease?
Update... I recently tested Microsft Expression Web Designer and it is an
excellent editor and it renders CSS very well in the Edit Mode. I hope that
Contribute will perform as well... I just cannot give Contribute to my clients
in its current form - v2 and v3 only render table based layouts and the
simplest of CSS layouts. It publishes the page well so that the browser view
displays correctly, but the edit view is just a mess.

Re: Does anyone know when Contribute 4 is due forrelease?
One reason to use the beta would be to predict what is coming. Contribute is
designed to be deployed to groups of non-technical people. With this model,
the developers and admin people need to know what is coming. Adobe has been
useless in this regard, refusing to answer what features are coming or release
public betas. Because of this lack of information, we have taken initial steps
to migrate away from it. There is simply no way to plan in a vaccuum of
information.

Re: Does anyone know when Contribute 4 is due forrelease?
Since it is due to be realeased next month, what are some of the new features
that will be available. It seems that connectivity is a real problem with
Contribute. CSS layout seems also to be a problem, even though I don't have a
problem with my clients at this time. I cannot get one client to get connected
via network, two firewalls seem to be the problem.
