Does Appleworks 6.2.5 for Mac OS 8/9 have built-in Dataviz convertors for saving files in Microsoft Word format? - Mac Applications & Software

A friend of mine with an iBook, OS 9.x, and Appleworks (I don't know which version), is having a hard time trying to email his CV as an attachment readable by potential (PC-running, M$ Word-using) employers. Apple's technical specs for Appleworks 6.2.7 for Mac OS X include built-in Dataviz Maclink translators for saving Appleworks doents as Microsoft Word doents. Does the latest version of Appleworks for Mac OS 8/9 (that is, ver. 6.2.5) include the Dataviz convertors? If so, my friend's problems could presumably be solved by getting a free update. Thanks for any help from anyone who knows, Ben....

The translators were added beginning with the AW 6.1.2 update [the
original release of AW 6 omitted them], so 6.2.5 should have the
translators. (BTW, if your friend has AW 5, then he/she also has the
    translators.)

even with the translators I wouldn't trust them to convert them
perfectly. For something as critical as a CV, I'd suggest saving them as
either RTF files (openable by any word processor) or as a PDF. That is
    what I am doing.
