I have started to read , (in detail) some of the language of the RIKLA and - I was wondering if saving an image of a PDF document in an online storage system as a TIFF file constituted a DRM violation in terms of the RIKLA.

You will need to consult with Adobe licensing on that issue. Each specific RIKLA license is taken separately and evaluated on its own merit.
