Does System.capabilities.screenResolutionX work on MAC? - Macromedia Flash Actionscript

ok I am having problems with this site on a MAC. Inmy Flash file I get the screen res like this: _level0.w = System.capabilities.screenResolutionX; _level0.h = System.capabilities.screenResolutionY; then I load another swf called my.swf. in my.swf I use the screen res to place a movie clip like I may place my movie clip called clip like this _root.clip._x = (_level0.w - 100); _root.clip._y = (_level0.h - 100); the problem is it always works ok a PC perfect, when I run the site on a mac, it messes up and places it in wierd areas....

    System.capabilities.screenResolutionX; work great on Mac too. May be the problem comes from another part of your code.

    Where do you use it: Html page or projector.
    Does the stage allowScale is true or false

    We need more details to help u find the problem.

    ok here is the idea. I have my index.html which calls a javascript function to open a new window.html

    function popFull(url,name){
    //I grab the screen resolution and set it a bit smaller to accompany the taskbar
    w = screen.width - 8;
    h = screen.height - 34;

    var url;
    var popW;
    var popH;

    window.open(url,name,'width=' + w + ',height=' + h + ',top=0,left=0');
    }

    function MM_callJS(jsStr) { //v2.0
    return eval(jsStr)
    }
    //-->
    </script>

    <body bgcolor="#000000" text="#ffffff" link="#FFFFFF" vlink="#FFFFFF" alink="#CCCCCC">
    <table width="100%" border="0">
    <tr>
    <td><div align="center">
    <p>&nbsp;</p>
    <p>&nbsp;</p>
    <p><img src="splashpic.jpg" width="322" height="262" border="0" usemap="#maps"></p>
    </div> </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    <map name="maps" id="maps">
    <area shape="rect" coords="121,109,208,129" href="javascript:popFull('window.html','main');">

    now I have window.html in here I have this

    <script language="JavaScript">
    function openpopup(URL,name,width,height,xpos,ypos){
    winpops=window.open(URL,name,"width="+width+",heig ht="+height+",toolbar=no,location=no,directories=n o,status=no,scrollbars=no,menubar=no,resizable=no, ")
    winpops.moveTo(xpos,ypos)
    }
    </script>

    </head>

    <body bgcolor="#000000" text="#000000" leftmargin="0" topmargin="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0">
    <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=5,0,0,0" width="1650" height="1250">

    <param name=movie value="blank.swf">

    </embed>
    </object>

    as you can see, this one calls blank.swf (1600x1200) which I have code on like this:

    onClipEvent (load) {
    Stage.scaleMode = "noscale";
    //_level0.w = Stage.width;
    //_level0.h = Stage.height;
    _level0.w = System.capabilities.screenResolutionX;
    _level0.h = System.capabilities.screenResolutionY;

    _level0.current = 20;
    _level0.started = false;

    loadMovieNum("menu.swf", 5);
    }

    this calls menu.swf (1024x768), in menu I have this:

    onClipEvent(load){
    w = 1280;
    h = 1003;
    _root.main._x = (_level0.w - w); //positions the MC where I want it relative to blank.swf
    _root.main._y = (_level0.h - h);
    }

    Anyway, if you can see anything please let me know.
