    Default domainname not appended

    Hi,

on my AIX 4.3.3 (ML10) Box the domainname from /etc/resolv.conf will not be
    appended.
If i run "telnet computer" aix says unknown host, if i try "telnet
    computer.mydomain" everythinbg works fine.
/etc/resolv.conf has a line "domain mydomain"
These problem occurs only if i try to use the ftp or telnet command, ping
    works fine.
    Any ideas?
