Down Load Error-"Extension package not valid"

Hi,

I am getting an error when attempted to download Dreamwear 8 extionsions file
manager.

The error: " Extension Package is not Valid"

I purchased DreamWeaver 8 a student version?

what can I do?

I'm having this same problem with Extension Manager CS4.

First it said it would migrate my old extensions. Only two out of maybe 20
migrated. The two that made it will not allow me to enable them. Thanks for
nothing.

But the worst is: Any extension I download from the exchange site I get a
message that the installer is invalid. I tried with FF and IE (although I
don't know what the browser has to do with it, Danilocelic).

Is it possible that the reason for an error is at macromedia extension site??

I was beginning to suspect it was on Adobe's end, too. But I finally found out
the answer (for me, anyway). I thought it was fishy when I suddenly also had
trouble installing Firefox add-ons. I disabled ThreatFire, and have since had
success installing both Adobe and Firefox add-ons.

ThreatFire didn't give me any error messages or clues - it was just blocking
them in the background, I guess. Everything works fine if I just disable TF
during the install of extensions or add-ons, then re-enable and use the
program(s).

Thanks for all your pondering over it, anyway!! Hope it helps somebody else...

I am using dreamweaver cs4, the problem is:
dreamweaver is creating folders in unusual location:

How do I stop this? anyone with answers...pls help.
