I've been trying to download the MSI since June 26th with no luck. July 4 and
still no luck. Anybody able to contact support. I tried a link from the
support page to email support on download issues; however, there were only
Adobe products listed from the dropdowns. :mad;

To make things worse, I've contacted Adobe support only to be redirected to
re-submit the request to Macromedia support:

After entering the request again, I was sent an automated response to general
install issues.

This is getting frustrating!

Looks like this problem has existed since at least March 16:

I actually was eventually able to download the Shockwave Player 10.1.1.016 msi,
but cannot download the latest version 10.1.3.018 msi. It looks like they have
updated the message on the download site though, misspelled too, ha!

The update from Adobe/Macromedia to this now is the replacement of the error
page, with a message:

How long dies it take them to build a new MSI and post it to their site???
Instead of Macromedia showing Adobe how to make things better, it looks like
Macromedia is learning to do things the Adobe way. For MSI installers, that
means that things will be geared away from ease of corporate deployment and
management. It's sad!

Why doesn't Adobe reply to this thread?
I need the MSI package now, or atleast a way of installing Shockwave player
from the exe installer silently without the IE popup at the end that says
Installation Complete.

I am having alot of problems and mentioned these forums to Adobe saying you
people are first to jump down peoples throats when they have problems and say
it is your pc...try looking at your forums and see what is going on...Well i
received no response and i guess like the note on the bottom says..The forums
are for user to user and not endorsed nor official support so you all know how
much they give a rats a$$

can anybody help me out here??? no matter what i do, i just can't download
shockwave player from those official websites. but i did find some website
where i can download shockwave 10.1.3.018, but after i installed it. i still
can't play the games. >_<

I'm unsure if everybody is aware, but the site is finaly updated with the latest version of plug-in in MSI format. Yippee.
