download page to the web server

    Default download page to the web server

    Guys..
    I've downloaded my DW pages to the web server, but somehow after log on using
    frontpage I can't get to my main page what is went wrong.
    however from my local pc I don't have this kind of problem

    What did you do?

    You uploaded the pages to the website? What happens when you browse to the
    website - do you see the pages? What did you use to upload them - DW?

    What do you see when you try to connect with FP? Why are you connecting
    with FP anyhow?

    Hi I'm able to brwose my login page which is my first page, after log on I don't get connected to my mainpage,
    giving me IE error with http...

    Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your
    browser is spelled and formatted correctly.
    If you reached this page by clicking a link, contact the Web site
    administrator to alert them that the link is incorrectly formatted.
    Click the Back button to try another link.
    HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
    Internet Information Services (IIS)

    Technical Information (for support personnel)

    Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the
    words HTTP and 404.
    Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for
    topics titled Web Site Setup, Common Administrative Tasks, and About Custom
    Error Messages.

    That's a plain old 'File Not Found' error. Could you post a URI to the
    original page so we can have a look at the code?
