Downloading a file from a CD - Macromedia Director Lingo

Hi, Im using Director MX. On my CD, I want people to be able to click on an option that starts to download a video from my CD to the users harddrive. I heard that there is an extra for this, Buddy API I believe it is called. But I'm not good with Lingo and I have no idea how to write it to make it work, or any other extra work for that matter. Thanks for your help....

    hi man
    look at this :
it is what you want it, isn't?
    global directory, theFile

    on prepareMovie
set the visible of sprite(35) to FALSE
put the moviepath into field ("source")
    put "" into field("destination")
    put "" into field("file")
    end

    on startMovie
    startTimer
    end

    on exportTheHouse

-- locates the route of the movie!
put the moviepath into field ("source")
    put "" into field("destination")
    set path = ""

-- works out if your using a MAC or a PC
if the platform contains "Windows,32" then
    put "videosFolder\videos" after field("source")
    else
    put "videos:" after field("source")
    end if

    put field("source") into directory

    fxObj = xtra("FileXtra3").new()

-- brings up correct dialog box for your OS
if the platform contains "Windows,32" then
    put fxObj.fx_FileSaveAsDialog(directory, theFile, "Choose a
    destination folder", True) into field("destination")
    ELSE
    if field("destination") = "empty" or field("destination") ="" then
    put fxObj.fx_FolderSelectDialog("Choose a folder:") & theFile
    into field("destination")
    end if
    end if

    put field("destination") into path
    fxObj.fx_FileCopy(directory & theFile, path)
    fxObj = 0
    end

    on Videos

-- locates the route of the movie!
put the moviepath into field ("source")
    put "" into field("destination")
    set path = ""

-- works out if your using a MAC or a PC
if the platform contains "Windows,32" then
    put "video folder\" after field("source")
    else
    put "videos:" after field("source")
    end if

    put field("source") into directory

    fxObj = xtra("FileXtra3").new()

-- brings up correct dialog box for your OS
if the platform contains "Windows,32" then
    put fxObj.fx_FileSaveAsDialog(directory, theFile, "Choose a
    destination folder", True) into field("destination")
    ELSE
    if field("destination") = "empty" or field("destination") ="" then
    put fxObj.fx_FolderSelectDialog("Choose a folder:") & theFile
    into field("destination")
    end if
    end if

    end

    Change the FileXtra3 by FileXtra4

    Hi,
    This is the entire lingo
Change the line "on exportTheHouse" by a name of yours, and the Line
"set the visible of sprite (35) to FALSE" by any sprite number that you
    are or intend to use.
    So, thats all
