Downloads locking up the ie7/explorer?
Well I was doing my best to run and live with Vista full time, but I've had
to give the idea up now as each time I try to download something I get the
box up to select the download area are both ie and explorer lock :(
So back to MCE2005 I guess until the next build.

You see, this happened to me as well but after disabling UAP and restarting,
it did it once and then never did it again. Really don't kno what the cause
of it is, but that worked for me. Have you got any toolbars added into IE?
Disable UAP:

Re: Downloads locking up the ie7/explorer?
I have not encountered this personally on IE 7, but I think did have some
issues going to the Download folders, what I did was, go to the root of the
drive, open Users > "User Account" (adacosta ie) > open Downloads and it
save the download to that location. If that does not work, give this a try:
Try disabling UAP and see if it fixes the issue, Click Start > All ProgramsDisable UAP > click Launch > OK.> Accessories > Run > type MSCONFIG > Tools (tab) scroll down > select

Re: Downloads locking up the ie7/explorer?
Use Firefox to download it works fine in beta 2, as does Thunderbird
