Downsampling EPS images?

Hello,
I have a document with EPS images (duotones), but when I rip the PDF (from a PostScript via distiller), these EPS images aren't being downsampled — I assume this is because they're EPS images and thus distiller thinks that because it's EPS it's vector based and has nothing to downsample.
How do I get around this?

What version of Distiller?

First, Distiller actually looks "inside" the PS/EPS to locate any images to downsample (or otherwise process according the job options). So if your EPS contains a raster image that needs to be downsampled according to your settings - it will.

Second, please make sure you have the 7.0.8 patches installed and aren't stuck at 7.0.

Third, what are your JobOption settings and how are you verifying that the operation in question isn't taking place?

Fourth, have you looked at using the PDF Optimizer after the fact to downsample?

Yea, not sure what happened, but I restarted (should have done this before submitting this question) and after reboot, it was all good.
