Draft Console Cleanup
I have built a site for a client using Contribute. They are quite busy and have
one Publisher at the moment. Needless to say, this publisher has a full draft
console. It seems that even when drafts are deleted etc., they are still listed
in the draft console. Is there any way to clean this up so that only the still
active drafts are shown in the console? This would make her draft lists much
more manageable.
Thanks!!

Re: Draft Console Cleanup
Hi,
You can go to c:\Documents and settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Macromedia\Contribute 3\sites\<Site Number> and find all the drafts.
Delete all the html files that are to be deleted, and they will be reflected
in the Draft console.

Re: Draft Console Cleanup
I am experiencing a similar issue, except mine is that Contribute displays all
the pages in my site in the Draft Console, even though they have never been
edited. I have searched my computer for the draft folder referenced and am
unable to find it to delete them. Does Contribute 3 store the site in a
different location. Please help.

Re: Draft Console Cleanup
I recently fixed a similar issue, where I needed to delete drafts that were
crashing Contribute when I would open them due to a corrupted graphic file
within the page. It was a classic "Catch 22" in that I couldn't delete them
within Contribute until I opened them, but I was unable to successfully open
them!
I was using Contribute 3.1 with Windows XP. If I remember correctly, the
problem was that the draft files were actually there but invisible. I found
them using the XP seach commands, but had to turn on a feature to look for
invisible files and folders. They were then made visible, and my problems went
away as soon as I deleted them.
