Draft not displayed

When I select 'Edit this page' I just get a horizontal red line with two icons
at the left end, which do not respond when I click on them. I have worked with
Contribute 2 in the past but this started to happen, so I am trying Contribute
4, but the same thing happens.

My website is firmament-chaos.com. I tried several pages but the same thing happens. I want to purchase Contribute 4 but it makes no sense if the trial does not work.

There are a lot of errors in the code of your page (invalid HTML and not HTML
4.01 Transitional). Your page didn't display correctly (saw a red border and
icons too) in Dreamwevaer either, until I corrected some errors. The red line
is your main tables red border.

I think the new versions of Contribute are not as forgiving as the old ones.

If you correct the errors I think the page will display in newer versions of
Contribute.

If you have Dreamweaver you could Validate your page and correct the errors
one by one. You could also create a template to work with Contribute (editable
regions) and transfer the content of your site to the new pages. In future you
can easaly update the pages from your template.
