    Default Drafts

I setup a role for one of our marketing users. He can edit pages just fine and
send the draft to me. When I send the draft back to him with comments, it
shows in his draft console but when he tries to view the page, he gets a
permission error that asks for his network password. Is there maybe some
different folder that the draft is being sent to?

What folders does Contribute need full access to?
    Thanks!

Any ideas anyone? The whole reason we got contribute is to be able to send
drafts around to people for review. Right now drafts can only be sent
successfully to me (administrator). If I send it back, or two writers send
between each other it shows in the draft console on the left, but will not
allow them to open it and view it - It asks for their username/password, but
    will not accept it.

Really frusterating, it has to be some simple setting I didn't click or
something or maybe some folder they don't have proper access to.

    Hi there,

I just ran across the same issue. We tested Contribute to a test server
first, residing on an internal domain only. All worked great. We then turned
around and have set up the website on a production server residing in the DMZ.
Everything worked fine except we had the same issue you are experiencing it
sounds like. It was resolved in IIS. You have to allow Anonymous access to
the MMWIP folder where the drafts are stored. Once we allowed that access from
within IIS all was good. In IIS naviage to the folder in the web directory,
right click and choose properties. Under Directory Security choose
Authentication and Access Control and check Enable Anonymous Access. You don't
want to allow that type of access to the _mm folder, but the MMWIP is ok as it
    just stores your drafts.

    Hope this works for you.

Somehow in one of my websites I've ended up with multiple drafts; like more than 100. How can I get rid of these without deleting them one at a time?

Nope, not a word. They are still in the draft box. I bought the upgrade
recently but haven't installed it yet. We'll see.

Have you tried removing the drafts form the folder in which Contribute stalls
    them:

    XP:
    C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Application
    Data\Adobe\Contribute CS3\Sites
    (or maybe: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local\Application
    Data\Adobe\Contribute CS3\Sites

    Vista:
    C:\Gebruikers\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Contribute CS3\Sites\

On XP, C: I assume you mean my hard drive? I have no file on the top level
named Documents and Settings! I start out at username and there is no local
settings file. I searched for a folder call Contribute CS3 and have no such
    file on my computer.

    More help please!
