drawing a straight line!!! IS THIS ACTUALLY POSSIBLE??

    don't use the shift key, and drag the line out by hand, check that the top
    and bottom rect points are only 1 pixel apart and you will have a straight
    (ehm ish) line.If you zoom in to 800% you'll see that it is still diagonal,
    but at 100% it looks completely straight. Naff I know but if ur not zooming
    into the stage it should be fine. :-/

    If you are talking about Director's shape based line, for a static line I just use a box shape instead. If you need to animate (rotate over time) the line then neither of these are really appropriate, I would then use a vector shape
