Dreamweaver and Fireworks CD-ROM Tutorial - Macromedia Fireworks

I'm curious if there are others who have purchased this CD-ROM offering. http://www.dreamweaver-x.com/ It all sounds good, but I'm a bit reluctant based on that it would appear you can only buy lessions 1-3 online. I see no way to purchase others, unless they just do not exist yet. Opinions? -- ....david http://www.micro-mess.com http://www.va-mustang.com If you wish to reply to me personally, please remove the "underline" from net. The is done to avoid SPAM!...

I've never heard of them before. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the
    header on their purchase page.

Have never heard of them. You might also consider looking at:

    http://www.cbtcafe.com/dreamweaver/index.htm

    http://www.lynda.com/products/videos/dwmxcd/
    http://www.lynda.com/products/videos/dw04cd/

As they have sample "chapters" as well as the table of contents online.

On the Lynda.com site you can, sign up for a subscription and if you have
broadband, download as many lessons as you want (covering DW, FW, and 30+
    other software tools).

Have no affiliation with either of the above listed sites, but thought you
    might find them of interest.

    Cheers,
    Sam

    Must . . . keep . . . scrolling . . . Scotty, I need my wheel mouse back
    online now.

Seriously, I think I saw this site some time ago, over a year ago . . it
looks exactly the same now as it did then, and bear in mind, it's pushing
    DWMX, not MX '04.

If you take a look at the *testimonial sites* You'll see that they learned
how to create *exactly* what you see on the dreamweaver-x page - err - site,
except they skipped the chapter on using the Spell Check.

Take a look at the source code - the guy doesn't even have basic meta tags.
But his pop up JavaScript message is right there, front and center.

You have better things to spend your time and your money on.

It looks to me like the top part of that page was done by someone completely
different from whoever did the rest of it. Don't you love the use of alert()
to pop up "Buy this" message from time to time?

    KwikDyme??

    I'd give this a pass.

That header looks like he may have been a cut and paste from another web site.
