The password and login are correct but even if they weren't, you'd expect
    some TCP/IP
packets to get trapped by Netmon. It did work ok at one point. I don't use
    DW that much;
one day it wasn't happy so I just used a third-party FTP package to transfer
    the stuff I needed.
I'd like to fix this, though.

It may have had to do with me trying to set up SSH (and putty and plink).
    Don't remember if
it ever recovered from that. Could there be something in the registry?

Frankly, I don't know what might be wrong. But I'm asking for info that
I think the more knowledgeable people here need to know to be able to
give you some suggestions. Here's more:
    Are you behind a firewall?
Do you have any other aps running in the background, e.g. virus detection?
What's your DW version, platform and os?

    D'OH! What a bonehead...

It was ZoneAlarm. Must've turned off DW months ago (like I said, I don't
    use it much). Installing 6.1
    made ZA ask again.

    Anyway, thanks!
