I am not familiar with that extension, but in general, you should open
the Extension Manager, select Dreamweaver, then select the extension
from the list, and the description of the extension and how to use it
    should be displayed.

Good morning! I am having the same problem... I downloaded and extention called
"E-Mail Form", I found it in my extentions manager, and when I select it it
    says

"A Member of the "Peacock Extension Suite". This requires IIS 4.0 or later
with e-mail capabilities. Use this server-behavior to E-mail a form using
"CDONTS.NewMail". Please note if using E-Mail Form in conjunction with
insert, delete and update record behaviors use the E-mail Form's Redirect URL
field in replace of the record behavoirs "Go to" field (the "Go to" field must
be left blank or no e-mail will be sent). This extension is ASP VB Script only.

Access from the 'PES' >> 'E-Mail Form' entry in the Server Behaviors Menu."

The problem I am having is that I set up my site as ASP, and connected to my
test server but when I select PES under my + sign in the Server Behaviors menu,
there is nothing, it says <no behaivors>

Please help! I am trying to email a form, but have been searching for 2 weeks
now and am having no luck! Thank you!

    Default Dreamweaver Extensions

I want to give my Contribute users some special menu items or tool bar objects.
A menu item might, for example, insert code like:

(For the browser user of the webpage, this would call a javascript function
that displays a new window with a full size image and caption when the
    thumbnail is clicked.)

The Contribute user would get a dialog where she would specify the thumbnail,
the full size image, and the caption. So you can create this kind of object in
Dreamweaver. How do you (is it possible to) get it to work within Contribute?

    (Dreamweaver 8 / Contribute 3)

It is possibly to modify the menus in Contribute.

Infact a lot of the dialog boxes that contribute uses can be found within the
    configuration.

I did it a while ago, when we were trying to aid users to create accessible
data tables (providing summary attributes), unfortunately contribute didnt
provide this (the dialog box does actually exist within the configuration).

have a look through some of the files and try to find the one that relates to
    creating tables.

    Hope this helps.

If you have a dreamweaver extension, which is say a htm and some javascript,
and you put it into the right place in the contribute configuration, it will
(might) work fine, just the way it would in Dreamweaver. I've tested this
myself with a plugin thing we have, and it works perfectly fine, and comes up
in the drop down menu. However i can't find any information on how to have
these install using macromedia extension editor. I'm assuming you can't,
however i'd really like to know if it will be supported in future becuase it
    would be pretty handy.

I'd imagine some extensions that work with dreamweaver might not work in
contribute - depending on which parts of dreamweaver dont exist in contribute.

    Default Dreamweaver Extensions

    Hello,
I'm a beginningnweb design student working on a class project. I would like to
incorporate two functions into my site.
1.) A discussion forum for members to discuss issue of the day as they relate
    to our former/current employer.
2.) A bulletin board where members ca post all sorts of things such as
events, for sale items, services, weddings and other special announcements,
deaths, etc. There should be some functionality whereby the date of posting
    appears , etc.
3.) A photo gallery where members can upload their own photos to the site.
I have reviewed the various extensions on Dreamweaver Exchange and
    unfortunately many of these
extensions have not been updated recently and the link to look at examples
takes one to a 404 page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Michael - I'm creating a web site for a university and I need to do the
exact same thing - discussion board, announcements, and bulletin board type
features. I'll share whatever I learn w/you but I've not found anything so
far. Maybe even include a wiki somehow.
