Dreamweaver Extention Development Environment
I am developing a dreamweaver (MX 2004) extension. Every time I change the
content in a javascript file under the Configuration folder, I have to restart
the dreamweaver to be able to see the effect of my change. But re-starting
dreamweaver is not a good way for developing an extension as it is very tedious
and time-consuming. Could anybody tell me what's the best way to set up a
develop environment (i.e., without re-starting dreamweaver often times)?
Thanks in advance,
bobby

This also resets your toolbars, so will turn off any toolbar that by default DW doens't show, and will place the toolbars attached to the document window if you had moved them off of the document window. Also, if you have any third party toolbars installed, they will stack up vertically.
In my experience, the time that it takes to relaod isn't much longer that the time it takes to restart DW,a nd you don't have any of the drawbacks of some extensions not relaoding, and your toolbars getting thrown off wack.

Adding to what Danilo said if you are working on Behaviors or Commands
normally all you need to do after a change is launch your extension
interface and then close it. The second time you open it the changes should
have taken effect.
