Dreamweaver - Vakud Editor Extension
I am using Dreamweaver 8 with Windows XP Home Version - I have created an
index.html page with text and images. While viewing the page in Dreamweaver
everything is linked and appears to be correct, when I view the F-12 the page
in the browser from the Dreamweaver site. When I go to the Internet Web Site
the images are missing.
In trying to find the problem, I have received a message - "Can't find a
valid editor for this extension." I have gone back and linked all the images
again, and I still get the same message. I cannot find anything in the training
manuel, or within the program that tell's me how to correct this problem.
Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Dreamweaver - Vakud Editor Extension
You should make sure you uploaded all the images to your webserver as well as
the index.htm page. If you post a link to the problem page it also makes it
easier for people to help you out.
I don't think the valid editor message is related to your problem. It could be
that you don't have a program on your computer that can edit your image files.
Also, FYI, if you have more problems like this, they're probably better for
the Dreamweaver General Discussions forums. The extension in the error message
refers to your images file extension (.jpg, .gif, ...) while the Extension in
the forum title refers to more topics about extending dreamweaver and
Dreamweaver Extensions (aka plugins).
Hope this help,
Chris
