DreamweaverMX Keeps Rewriting my Code - Macromedia Dreamweaver

For some reason, when I open some files, DreamweaverMX adds in extra tags, usually closing CFIFs. This results in the pages breaking if I don't notice the rewrite and fix it, and it's causing me a lot of headaches. I've installed the 6.1 Updater and turned off all of the rewriting options in Preferences and it is still doing it. I've attached one of the files it rewrites. When I open it, it adds anywhere from two to four closing CFIFs near the end at the line indicated. I like MX and I'd like to keep using it, but I ...

For some reason, when I open some files, DreamweaverMX adds in extra tags, usually closing CFIFs. I've attached one of the files it rewrites. When I open it, it adds anywhere from two to four closing CFIFs near the end at the line indicated. I like MX and I'd like to keep using it, but I really can't deal with being unable to trust it to leave my code alone. Is there any fix for this?

Default Re: DreamweaverMX Keeps Rewriting my Code

Thanks for the note about the extra </p>. I'll try taking that out. For the extra closing TR...the TR is opened in the header file, so it's not "really" an extra. I use the same header file on every page of the site (so they all have that extra </tr>), but Dreamweaver doesn't rewrite the code on all of them, just on that page and one or two others, so I can't think that it would be causing the issue. Also, invalidly nested HTML tags should cause it to add closing CFIF tags, should it?

Default Re: DreamweaverMX Keeps Rewriting my Code

It still keeps adding the extra tags. I had that same lack of closing <p> on three other copies of this same file, and it doesn't rewrite those (fixed them, now, since it's not good HTML otherwise *grin*). Other than that, it's still rewriting my code on that page, and several other ones, often without any indication until I upload it the file and it's magically broken.
