    Default Drop a shadow

    Hallo
    FreeHand 11.02 win and Mac
When drop a shadow (under raster effects) to a text or object, and create a pdf with Distiller, it's looks grate if the object place upon another object, but if the same object place upon an EPS, The shadow look bad. Why? Resolution = 300
I try different postscript driver and PPD.
And it's might be obvious to you designers but what exactly is the advantage of the new raster effects upon the "old" shadow in Freehand?
    Thank you

    Hi Everyone,

Can someone give a step by step procedure on how I can possibly re-create this
    issue?

    Thanks.

There is really no need to re-create it. Since Freehand does not have
a Postscript interpreter, all FreeHand has access to in the drawing
environment is the preview of the EPS. As a result, FreeHand raster
effects will not work as expected when positioned over an EPS. What
Jamus is seeing is 'expected behavior'.

Earlier versions of FreeHand have the same issue when lens effects are
    applied to EPS files.
