    Default Drop Down Menu?

I am very new to FlashMX. (Just opened the program about a week ago and have
    spent time doing the lessons)

Is it possible to create a mouse over drop down list with sub menus?

    Thank you.

    Yes it is.
If you go to the macromedia site and go to the devnet section and
search for popup menu - dont know why they call it that as it is a
drop down menu - you get a small tutorial and can download the fla
    file - 5k.

if you cant find it ask and i will email it.

Well, you cant trust no one can you.
It seems to have been stolen off the site. <Grin>
I promise you it was there 3 days ago.

I will probably get shot for the attachment but here goes.
Here is the flash file that goes with it. I will have another go at
finding it and if I cant, I will scan it in (I printed it out) and
    send it.

It took me an age to find it again.
it failed the 1st time but the search was 'How to create a pop-up menu
in Flash' from the main Tec Dev page.

    At least I found it.

Do you mean as part of the drop down or as an additional list? If you are talking about the drop-down, you can position each section to show up wherever you want.
