Drop Down Menu Extension Needed for DW8/Mac
I am looking for an extension that does a nice job of a number of drop down
menus for DW 8. Being originally a CyberStudio user (now GoLive), I have been
spoiled by MenuMachine's (for GoLive) seemingly infinite options, reasonable
price and very responsive support. I would think that since Dreamweaver is so
prevalent that there would surely be something out there more robust than what
I am finding.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Or is there a place where I can
find a list of extensions, system requirements, reviews? Alas, ProjectSeven, is
not even close.

league of what you need, I would recommend Xara or SoThink, which, like
Menu Machine, are geared more towards designers without strict coding
requirements.
SoThunk:

Xara:

I think these are just what you need.

why on earth would any one want to use anything other than pvii's pop menu
magic or tab bar magic within the dreamweaver environment is beyond me
no link to pvii just a satisfied customer

Re: Drop Down Menu Extension Needed for DW8/Mac
Thanks for your speedy reply.
Standards were not a part of my question but since the topic was brought up,
MenuMachine creates standards based, W3C compliant drop down menus with pretty
much an infinite number of styles (all drop down, tabbed, and tree styles are
included) for $65. But then, my goal is not to plug any product but to discover
what solutions are available to Dreamweaver8/Mac users.
SoThink, design wise, looks pretty much like ProjectSeven, but is only for the
Windows environment.
Xara is pretty much a bunch of rollovers, with a few simple drop downs thrown
in and is a Windows product.
Does anyone else out there have a recommendation?

I couldn't resist :-) Seriously, Menu Machine is standards compliant in> Yes. But I'll keep it to myself :-)
name only (perhaps). But I'm not here to argue with you about code,
standards, and accessibility. What kind of menu do you want to make?

While not a DW extension, but rather JS/DHTML, my favorite is by http://milonic.com/. Infinite (well, almost) customization possibilities, reasonable price, excellent support.
