Default drop down menu navigation

Hello,

I currently have DW 4 - and realize that I probably need to upgrade to 8. I
am new at web design and probably know just enough to be dangerous.

However, I have a client who wants a drop down menu navigation structure. I
don't know much about code and Java, so I can't really build it "on my own"
With that said, is there an easy way to develop this in DW 8 (or DW 4 if it
exists in there?) without having to know too much code, etc?

I really need to learn how to do this and want to do it the right way the
first time around.

With that said, can anyone help me determine if this is possible??

THANKS so much in advance for your help.

Javascript, not Java. The two are as different as night and day.

Check the tutorials and the products over on the PVII site - this is the
best way to get such things.....

Thanks, I appreciate your help. (and the correction on the Javascript vs.
Java!)

As for the project seven site - I have previously designed a site using
something called Menu Maker. I assume it is similar? It worked fine - but I
felt like it was just too easy to do the drop down this way and that inevitably
I was doing it the "easy way" and it would get me into trouble down the road.

The site for menu maker is:
http://www.xara.com/products/menumaker/

Do you think this will work for my next site (which I am hoping to get paid
for, therefore want to do it correctly)

Also, does this mean that DW 8 does not have something within it to create
this menu structure for me?

Are they similar. Not on your life. I wouldn't recommend MenuMaker to my
competitors.

The PVII menus are vastly different. And there's lots to learn from using
them, too. You'll see.

PVII? Certainly. Xara? No way, Jose.

You don't want to go there. The menus made by DW8 are even worse than
Xara....
