drop down menus - Macromedia Dynamic HTML

So can these drop-down menus support images? The reason being is that I have a special grafitti style font that I would like to use in the catergories in the sub menus, and wanted to use small jpegs in each category. Can anyone help me out? I would really appreciate it -C...

    Default Drop Down Menus

    I am tring to make a site that uses drop down menus. What I want it to do is
    when you select a year for a car it looks in the excel file and picks the cars
    availible for that year and then make it so they can pick the make of car then
    be able to hit the search button and it shows what cars are availible.

    I dont care if i have to use action scrip or if i have to use HTML im just not
    sure how to do it.

    Thanks

    Use a excel connection string try these links:
    http://www.simongibson.com/intranet/adooledb/
    or this:
    http://www.connectionstrings.com/?carrier=excel
    or google excel connection string. it is basically the same as connecting to
    access.

    Here is a MS Tech-Net article showing how to query excel, You can create a
    connection to a spreadsheet in DW and use some of the RS tools provided. Try
    making a connection to your excel spreadsheet by making a recordset to query a
    sheet. This article will show how its very similar and you can use SQL similar
    to querying Access or another DB.

    Default drop down menus

    I have a drop down menu working OK
    here is the code

    <td><label>Hull Construction
    <select name="Hull Construction">
    <option>Please select</option>
    <option value="Aluminium">1</option>
    <option value="Fibreglass">2</option>
    <option value="Timber">3</option>
    <option value="Steel">4</option>
    </select>
    </label></td>

    My problem is how do I reset the menu when I load the page with the database
    stored value
    say timber being menu item 3. At the moment it always opens with "Please
    select"

    thanks
