dsa.msc-> Sending To Home Folders Takes Longer Time!! - Windows Server

When I send a file to the mapped folder (home folder), it takes longer time than just typing the unc path and sending the file that way. Even though Its the same folder!!!! Ex. 700mb to mapped folder (home folder) = 30min.......700mb to unc path (SAME FOLDER) = 5min Why is that? Is it b/c Its has to communicated to the active directory, all the time? I have no other issues with the server, & dsa is working 100% normal...
