Dumb question...how dow you sace to an earlier version in CS?

I don't have CS, so I can't tell you for sure whether v6 is an option.

You are in Windows Illustrator. There is no version 6 for Windows (4.2 was last prior to version 7 for Windows). In CS you EXPORT, Illustrator Legacy .ai or Illustrator Legacy .eps, but then you only have a choice of downgrading to version 10, 9, 8, or 3. No version 6.
