i have burnt a piece to dvd avi format. doesnt seem to have a brilliant picture quality i wondered if anyone else knew a better way to burn to dvd

What does Director have to do with creating your DVD?
What you are trying to achieve, looping, sound, good quality DVD is better
served by a program like DVD Studio Pro. Although workarounds for making a
looping sequence with iDVD are possible. Visit iDVD forum at Apple to find
out how.
