DW Licence and Activation query

Q1. Ages ago I bought Ultradev4 & Fireworks4 for MacOS(9) on eBay and installed
it and registered it online - all went well. I then decided to go the upgrade
path and get Studio8 because Ultradev qualified me for the discounted price
before the end of Dec 2005. At no point did the install of Studio8 ask for any
details of what I am upgrading from? Considering I paid the upgrade cost
(?299?) and not the full cost (?600?) could anyone have saved the cash and
lied saying they were upgrading?

Q2. Having got Studio8 for OSX I have installed it on two machines (My
Powerbook & my G4 tower at work) as I never use both at once am I violating the
licence agreement?

Q3. If I wanted to give away my 'potentially' surplus to requirements copy of
Ultradev/Fireworks would I have to unregister them to allow the new user to
register, would unregistering invalidate my 'upgrade' to Studio8?

Q4. What is Activation? I've seen threads where people are worried about
installing/re-installing and activation?

Q5. My last employer had two install CD's for Studio MX (1st was single user
licence, 2nd was 5 user licence), when the wrong CD was handed out by accident
(licence keys were hand written on CDs) I would often get a message telling me
that the licence key was in use... Do Adobe / Macromedia still check for
multiple copies of same licence on startup?
