DW4 froze on template update, will not restart - Macromedia Dreamweaver

While trying to save an updated template, I got the error message that the template contained an invalid path or file name. I clicked on "OK" thinking I'd get the opportunity to fix the problem, but the application locked up solid. I had to do a hard reboot (pressed the reset button on the computer) in order to restart. Now the program will not start in any way, shape or form. Is my only solution to reinstall??...

    Carol:

I dunno - what happens when you try to restart it? What is your OS and
    platform?
