Most of the existing extensions that work with DMX 2004 will work with
Dreamweaver 8 when it becomes available. If you have a particular extension
that does not work, contact the extension developer.

to update an extension you go to where you purchased the extension from or
downloaded it from if it was free, see if they have a later version of the
extension in question and if so unload the extension using the extension
manager and download and load the new extension as normal. I would expect
most dw7 extensions to work with dw8 but then depends on the extensions you
have , if you have queries drop a line to who ever created the extension.

    regards
