Default DWMX-Training from the souirce book problem

I am using Jeff Barzells DWMX-ASP/PHP/CF-Training from the source book but am
unable to preview the page in IE or Safari through dreamweaver but I get a 404
page not found error. Is there some site definition problem?
Apache,PHP,MySQL and phpMyAdmin all seem to work fine.

I am just rying to run this on my computer and wont be uploading for a while.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks ahead of time.

404 means page not found. You've typed the incorrect URL into the browser.

I just followed the instructions in Jeff Bardzells book and setup the Site
Definition/Testing Server URL Prefix to "http://localhost/newland/" and that is
where I get the 404 error. If I just set it to:"http://localhost/" and click
preview I get the PHP configuration but never the page I'm trying to test.
