Dynamic Matte Value || Blurred .gif text images
Hey all.
I'm working on a php mod-like site that allows user to, among other things,
set color schemes for their site.
The problem is that exported .gif text images (e.g. the company name) come
out blurred when I set the image background and matte to transparent (images
need to be exported with these settings as we don't know the color scheme in
advance).
So, is there a way to display .gif text cleanly regardless of the color
scheme chosen by the user?
Thanks in advance for any leads.......

Re: Dynamic Matte Value || Blurred .gif text images
Thanks Linda.
Don't know if our current client will go for the blocky text look, but I'll
give it a shot........
It'd be great if there was a way to export PNG files as .gif text on the fly
with db supplied params (e.g. dynamic matte values) -- then mod users could
have clean text images regardless of the mod color scheme.
Maybe down the raod........
