    Default e-mailing PDF Forms

I'm very new to Acrobat. Sorry for the dumb question. I purchased Acrobat 6.0 professional with the intention of creating an order form that I could e-mail to my customers. My intent was to have them fill out the form and e-mail it back. I'm finding that they can't fill out the form (or at least save the entries) unless they have a copy of Acrobat. Does this really mean that all of my customers will need to purchase a copy of Acrobat to use the order form or am I missing something. I am trying to use this form through e-mail. We do not have a web site yet (although we are working on one). thanks!

If you don't have a web site then, yes, the least costly option is for your customers to have either Acrobat or Acrobat Approval which will let them save filled in forms. The alternative is Adobe Document Server for Reader Extensions, but I'm guessing that $10k+ isn't in your plans.

I too am new - purchased Acrobat 6.0 professional so I could create an on-line application on our website. I have the application created but it appears that I am the only one (having 6.0 Pro on my machine) who can send it successfully. When anyone else attempts to send the error message occurs:
"Windows Messaging - The form required to view this message can not be displayed” Any thoughts on what I'm missing to make this work? Our Campus uses GroupWise e-mail system, students & staff.

    Thanks!

To submit a form means to send it to a web server - NOT to e-mail it.

A PDF is a PDF, not HTML.
