easy link question from beginner - Macromedia Dreamweaver

hey guys. Im playing around with text links and image links, trying to get it to link up to a page already on the web. I am in "preview in browser" mode, and I'm just trying to get to www.starwars.com for a test. When the link is clicked, i get that annoying "page can not be displayed" thing. While previewing your page in the browser, can you only get links to work in your own local site? I must be doing something wrong because i've done it with html and flash. Please someone show me the light. thanks...

How does the link look? "www.starwars.com" isn't enough. You need to
tell the browser that it's a website on Internet by making it
    "http://www.starwars.com"

You'd have to be logged onto the WWW if it isn't in your own site/directory.

And if the HTML doent 'www.starwars.com' isn't in your own site you'd need to set the 'link' to 'http://www.starwars.com' - or am I missing something in your question?
