Default EBOOK HYPERLINK to clients websitesimoultaneously links to my own!

    Hello
The eBook hyperlink I've created in IND to my clients website simoultaneously links to my own!
My website is not listed in the hyperlinks palette, and it doesn't appear anywhere in the hyperlink options window. I entered it at some point when I was experimenting and now I can't get rid of the wretched thing, while time is running out on my delivery deadline!

    Help appreciated.

    Hello Buko,
    Thank you for the response.
I don't actually know what .inx is, or how to export to it.
My clients are expecting a PDF - isn't this something different...?

Exporting to INX is same as exporting to PDF. Go to Command-E>interchange format (usually PDF comes up by default). Then reopen the .inx file in ID and save as an .indd file. Now export your PDF as usual and see what happens.

    Hi Richard,
    Thankyou for your help.

I've tried this test now, and unfortunately my erroneous links are still appearing when I export as an eBook from the IND doc created from the .inx doc.

My clients website link still opens both their home page and my own,
even though I've tried deleting all URL destinations and re-entering just the two clients links I need.

The second of the clients links is to open an addressed email for them. This link is actually opening 3 windows - the one I want, a blank Safari window and my own wretched home page!!!

    I'm going all weak.
The more I try to resolve this one, the worse it seems to get.
Very much appreciate any help on this.

It sound's really weird and I haven't come across anything like it.

Is there a remote chance you've accidently stacked *two* links on top of
each other? It might be that the lower one is registering the click,
too, while the upper one is the only one that appears editable to you
and points to the correct location - links on a master page duplicated
on child pages comes to mind as a possibility.

What happens if you copy&paste any of the links into a fresh document
and export that as a PDF - does the double-linking still occur?

Your site doesn't appear in the hyperlinks palette at all?

Also delete all the links then export to .inx

see if that cleans out the file.
