Economy MX workspace in MX2004 or 8
Hi,
we dont like MX or 8 workspace it is not economy and is irrational. How
can we change it.
Why we pay for larger LCDs od Monitors. Exactly not for larger toolbars
or space between them.

Exist any possibility to set up MX workspace in DRWM8?
Thanx PEPP

It's hard to tell from the screen shot that you posted why there's extra
space. I suspect that you just need to arrange your toolbars better, or
turn them off).
Although everything is docked in DW by default, you can undock almost
everything and place them wherever you want. You can even
create/save/restore different workspaces in DW8. Take a look at the menu
commands here:
Window > Workspace Layout

PEPP is complaining about the "extra" spacing between panels and and "window" title area for the document area.
PEPP, unfortunately, this space is baked into the application and cannot be removed. You're recourse is to learn/assign keyboard shortcuts to show and hide panels.

I still don't know what you're talking about that could be taking up 20> "window" title area for the document area.

vertical pixels like in his screen shot.
Are you referring to the extra header for Table Layout mode?

I used to worry about the space that the border around the document area took up, but ever since I stopped going below 1600x1200 resolution on my main monitor I've not thought about it much.

There's nothing that can be done about that.

I wish that 'classic' view was still an option. I found that much easier to
use, and wasted less space on my screen.
Plus I liked being able to just alt-tab between my document and the site
management screen.

The document window and all panels are detachable, so you can almost
achieve the 'classic' view in DW8. The only difference is that all
documents will be in a single window.

Re: Economy MX workspace in MX2004 or 8
And that's what I can't stand.
It was so easy to just alt-tab to quickly go to the site management screen,
now I either have to close it. And then reopen it every time, or have it
squished over to the right where I can't see anything.
So basically now I really need 2 monitors to have everything easily
assessable. Classic View was much easier, and didn't require 2 monitors.
