EdatCat and Dreamweaver
I am setting up an online shopping cart, EdatCat, using Dreamweaver MX 2004. I
have downloaded the EdatCat extensions for DW MX 2004 and placed them into the
"Downloaded Extensions" folder of Dreamweaver MX 2004 some time ago. I do see
the EdatCat menu choice on the toolbar of the DW GUI. Every time I click on it
to view the menu, DW shuts down entirely. Any clue as to why it is doing this?
Do I have the extensions in the right place?

appears that you have if you can see a toolbar within DW, then it
appears that there is either something going on with your DW, or there
is a significant issue with that extension.
The detail for the extension says that you need to have the edatcat
software installed, do you have that
Do you get any error mesages at all? If so, please post the exact
message? Are there any other issues? Do they go away if you uninstall
the extension?
Dont' know if it'll matter, but the extension doesn't list DWMX2004 only
DWMX, so it is possible (not likely) that that may be an issue.
You may need to contact EdatCat about this issue. However given this
notice on their home page I'd not be expecting much support:
