I want to put a counter on my travel website: www.luvntravln.com (enjoy the
pics :smile;)

Portion of source code before adding counter:

<p class="style5" style="margin-bottom: 0;">LINKS: </p>
<p class="Jay" style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;"><a
href="may-june2004.htm">First Diary Entry</a>
</p>
<p class="style5" style="margin-top:0;"><a href="diary.htm">Diary</a> -
<a href="naturistlifestyle.htm">Naturist Life Style</a> - <a
href="itinerary.htm">Itinerary</a> -
<a href="bigred.htm">Big
Red</a> - <a href="landyacht.htm">Land Yacht</a> - <a
href="techinfo.htm">Technical Information</a>
</p>
</body>
</html>

Opened the index page in Notepad and added code for the counter:

<p class="Jay" style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;"><a
href="may-june2004.htm">First Diary Entry</a>
</p>
<p class="style5" style="margin-top:0;"><a href="diary.htm">Diary</a> -
<a href="naturistlifestyle.htm">Naturist Life Style</a> - <a
href="itinerary.htm">Itinerary</a> -
<a href="bigred.htm">Big
Red</a> - <a href="landyacht.htm">Land Yacht</a> - <a
href="techinfo.htm">Technical Information</a>
</p>
<p class="Jay" style="margin-bottom: 0;"><img
src="/cgi-sys/Count.cgi?df=luvtra00.dat|display=Counter|ft=6|md= 5|frgb=100;139;2
16|dd=A"></p>
</body>
</html>

Saved and closed Notepad.

Published page.

Counter appears in Macromedia and each time I open my site in Contribute the
number advances.

However, when I open www.luvntravln.com in my browser, the counter is not
there and the source code does not reflect the additional code that is
reflected in Contribute when I reopen the page in Notepad.

Why? Any suggestions to get the counter to appear in the browser?

Jay

PS: Anyone else find this to be the slowest site for typing information?
