    Default Editable Library Files

I am setting up a new site in Dreamweaver that will be edited by writers and
publishers in Contribute. Each page has a template assigned to it so noone can
mess up the design. I am trying to create HTML objects that can be dragged
into the main content of the page where the the code of the object cannot be
changed but text can be added. I tried creating this in another template but
when I dragged it into my file the other one was deleted. (I hope that made
sense) Is there a way to create editable regions inside of a library file? Or
    any other ideas?

    Thanks for any help

    Default Re: Editable Library Files

I don't think Contribute lets you edit the libray files (.lbi) at all.
There is another post on this forum from someone trying to create a
template-include with editable regions, but that isn't working either (yet).
So it's back to SSI (server side includes) with PHP f.i.
You can create include files and provide your users with the url to the file
or explain them how the find the files on the server using the Choose-button
    next to the address-bar.
