    Hello JFR

Couldnt you just open the pdf in illustrator, make the change and resave it as a pdf?

    hi Kumedwl and Wade,

Thanks for the input. Can you point me on how to edit the PDF in Illustrator? I did open the PDF file in Illustrator 10 and tried editing the text but I can't seem to find a way to edit the objects/elements (not sure what the right terminology to use) such texts.

I'm a newbie and the help section is not, well...very helpful.

If it was created as text, you should be able to edit like any other text in Illustrator. Is the text converted to outline? Or part of a raster image?

If the text has been split into seperate paths by the PDF process, select text with hollow arrow, copy/cut, make new insertion point with text tool, and paste. Then, most of the time, you'll have a complete run of editable text. It's a pretty messy way of editing as the formatting goes out of the window. If you have full Acrobat, can't you change text that way?
