Default Editing a PDF file that contains a form

Using Acrobat 8 Professional, I created my first PDF file from a Word document and then added several form fields. For instance, the form has the following labels followed by form fields:

    Name
    Email
    Addddddress:

After creating the form, I noticed the typo in the Address label. Is there a way to edit the PDF file to change the typo?

I'm under the impression to fix the typo I would have to start from the beginning - Update the Word document, save as PDF, add the form fields. My form has 30 fields, so to start from the beginning is a lot of work. Is there an easier way to edit the typo in the PDF file?

    thanks

Default Re: Editing a PDF file that contains a form

Is the typo in the actual name of the form field or is it just on the visible part of the form itself?

I assume it's the latter. If so, simply make the edit in the original document, export or print that page as a PDF, then use Document>Replace Pages to replace it in the PDF with the typo.
